The car gets a thorough wash using a two-bucket method and pH-neutral soap to strip surface dirt, road grime, and general buildup. This gives us a clean base to work from before any paint prep begins.
45 to 60 minsIron fallout remover is applied to dissolve bonded brake dust and metallic contamination sitting in the paint. The panel is then clay-barred to lift any remaining embedded particles that a wash alone cannot remove. Skipping this step means applying coating over contamination, which traps it permanently.
45 to 90 minsEvery package includes a single stage machine polish to remove swirl marks and light scratches and bring the gloss back. Ceramic coating locks in whatever condition the paint is in, so getting the paint right before coating is what makes the difference in the final result. Heavily neglected paint needs multi stage correction, which sits in Concours and is quoted once we have seen the car.
2 to 4 hours depending on paint conditionEvery panel is wiped down with isopropyl alcohol solution to strip any polish residue, oils, or surface contaminants. This step is critical. Ceramic coating bonds chemically to bare, clean paint. Any residue left behind weakens that bond.
20 to 30 minsThe coating is applied panel by panel in a cross-hatch pattern to ensure even coverage, then levelled off before it reaches its flash point. Showroom and Concours also take in the wheel faces and glass, with cure time allowed between stages.
2 to 4 hours depending on package and vehicle sizeThe whole car is checked under light for high spots or missed sections before handover. The coating keeps hardening for the first few days, so keep it dry for 24 hours and out of an automatic car wash for the first week.
